The Sacred Reminder Of Te Awa Kairangi

A plethora of ripples indivisible amongst the one

Weaving a sweet melody of beautiful heart song 

Fractals of rainbow light shimmer and dance

While warm sunlight embraces the fluid crystalline charm

Propelling and weaving with divine purpose and splendor

Blissfully undisturbed and at peace in an effortless endeavor 

Oh Te Awa Kairangi

With your gentle streams of untouched beauty and benevolent grace

Nurture our holistic bodies, minds, and spirit as we joyfully play

Bless the whole eco-system with your healing, crisp water

And merrily connect with us as forms of holy nature

You lovingly remind us of our unique path

And to give thanks for the sacredness of who and what we are

You, like us, were birthed from a mighty source

And surrendered we are to the extraordinary current that was intended pre-birth

Empowered and trusting where we are headed

We soak up the goodness of life in harmony and presence

You, the great elemental teacher of the valley

We sit and delight in your abundant value

We are anointed by the splashes of your transparent gift

While offering you our praise and our nurturing spirits

Together in this co-creative space

We become anchored yet free

Inspired to move forward to grow and be all that we can be

Never will we forget as we rise with the morning sun

Of the everlasting momentum of you and the journey that our soul has begun
